Leaning on the banks of the famous Perfume River, Hue Citadel is a complex of relics recognized at world cultural level, including the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden City. Visiting Hue ancient capital complex, you will have a chance to not only learn more about history, but also take photos in a unique architectural space imbued with royal features of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Hue Citadel has 4 entrances arranged on all sides with the main one located in the south is Ngo Mon Noon Gate, in front is the Flag Station and the Square, where cultural and artistic activities take place on the special occasions. In recent years, this place has officially opened to Hue tourism at night from 7pm - 10pm, which is an opportunity for you to see the brilliant architectural works under shimmering lights. Up to now, through many changes and time, the Hue ancient capital citadel is still an iconic historical site that proves the existence of the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam.

Hue National High-School

This is the first high school in Hue, built during the reign of King Thanh Thai in 1896, once a place where Late President Ho Chi Minh attended. The school stands out in the middle of Hue ancient capital with its brilliant red paint and green trees all year round, with a very large and airy campus inside. This place still has students studying, so you should come around noon or afternoon, leisurely walk the corridors, classrooms and school grounds, visit the old French architecture and take check-in photos.

Mausoleums of Nguyen Kings

Tu Duc tomb

This is one of the most unique products of Hue tourism, no less than the Citadel, outstanding with their respective unusual architecture and charming natural sceneries. The Nguyen Dynasty had a total of 13 kings, but due to economic and political reasons, only 7 mausoleums were built in Hue ancient capital, all of which remain today with the individual styles of each king. Some of the most prominent works are Gia Long Tomb on Thien Tho Mountain, Khai Dinh Tomb with the architectural interference of East - West cultures, considered the most beautiful Tu Duc Tomb, etc.
